years ago, when their senior partner, E. Dee Robinson,
co-founded what was to become the third largest CPA firm
in Springfield, Missouri.
That firm was founded to fill the need of small businesses
which would benefit from an in-house accountant
knowlegdeable in tax law, payroll requirements, financial
management techniques, cost control, budgeting,
succession planning, banking, and estate planning. Many
businesses with those needs did not require the full time
services of an accountant, nor could they afford one with
those specialized skills. The firm was dedicated to filling
that need by becoming intimately familiar with their clients'
businesses, and developing a program of providing those
services on a cost effective basis.
Dee and his two sons, Jeff and Andy, opened the doors to
Robinson and Company, LLP, on January 1, 2010, which is
dedicated to the same purposes and ideals. They know
their experience, education, specialized training, and wide
range of local business and professional contacts can help
most small businesses meet their personal and financial
goals. Robinson and Company can provide monthly
bookkeeping, payroll, and management reporting services,
as well as year-end tax preparation and planning (business
and personal) services. The firm also offers business
valuation services and personal financial planning services.
